The Grahadi Building is located on Gubernur Suryo street. This building was built in 1795 by the Dutch commissioner Dirk van Hogendrop (1794 – 1798). Formerly the front side of building faced the north then is was changed to south. While the front building faced the river. People used small vessel for their transportation, they arrived and go by the small vessel everyday.
The Grahadi’s function today as the official residence of East Java’s Governor. Meetings and official ceremonies are held here. It held Parade Senja or drum Band Parade every 17th .
