Have you met the mosque with the curve like a Chinese Temple ?

There is a unique mosque in Surabaya, its name is Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque. The unique is that mosque built by the Chinese architect and most like a Chinese Temple. Probably this is a spectacular mosque which can reflect a string union ethnic, also as a pious people. This mosque succeed to meet two tradition, the Moslem tradition and Chinese tradition.

Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque have size  on 11 x 21 meters with the important building size 11 x 19 meters. Beside that there are also 8 size in upon state. That 3 size or number intentionally make with the meaning itself. The meaning of number 11 is aim at the Ka’bah size when still build up, number 9 is a symbol of Wali Songo who is spreaded Islam in Java. The copula curve 8 sided which have meaning as Nabi Muhammad protector when he is in Hiro Cave. Number 8 symbolize Pat Kwa (Chinese Language) that means luckly or Glorious, because that curve continue and it is not ended. While the right of that mosque found statue ship and relief face of Muhammad Cheng Hoo.
