"My Daughter, the beauty of a princess is not measured by her clothes or by the jewelry you are wearing, but by your attitude. It's not that we don't love you, but what will people think if you go through with your plan?" says the king.On the other hand, the princess felt that their love is not enough and she was not happy. Once she had an idea to put all the jewelries that they have in every single hair in her head. She wants to be the most beautiful girl in the world. Then she went to see her parents and told them about her plan. The king is surprise and he tried to convince her that her plan is not proper and said: As told the king of a famous kingdom in Cipanas was very wise man. He had a beautiful daughter that he and his wife loves so much.

The princess was shocked to hear it then she runs to her room to get her jewelry box and screams that her parents were so miserly and she returned all jewelry she had by throwing jewelry box to her father. The wise king is outraged seeing his daughter did and said that she was ungrateful daughter.

Suddenly the floor of the palace erupts and water pours out from the crack and soon the palace became a lake and drown the ungrateful princess and her jewelry. The lake always reflects multiple colors to its surrounding and it is known as “Telaga Warna” that means colorful lake. Its color is changing periodically, sometimes  red  or yellow or green.
